Hello All;
With Roman's permission I am posting a SAR version of his free L-5 to the downloads section. I did it up to go with my FG SB-17G to match an old archive photo I have. Roman will be offering it on his site as well.

Just to clarify this a bit, Roman's kit IS free... and will remain so.
And from doing some further reading tonight about commissions, copyright, and more, I guess, if we really wanted to get into a brouhaha over this I might be wrong... (not sure about, but there's enough vagueness there that I don't want to claim anything falsely).
Here's the story:
I originally sponsored the contest here: New WW2 Light Military Aircraft Design Contest and then obtained rights (paid Roman - see L-5 by Kampfflieger) to sell the model including a further redesign and repaints for Lbirds.com - Liaison aircraft, pilots, restorations, and more!... mainly to help promote and encourage folks learning about the liaison aircraft (L-birds), and keep the website funded. I was originally hoping that the profits from this model would be enough to also sponsor some further contests, or commission a few more aircraft. Well, it's clear at this point that I'm just about to break even on the sales, and I was hoping not to further shoot them in the foot. On the other hand, I've decided that perhaps my actions here are more detrimental than useful, and I try really hard not to be a bad guy, so I've asked Jeff (via email) to go ahead and put it back up, with a couple of minor modifications.
The other repaints, and the ambulance version are redrawn further from this model (improved panel lines and markings) are available at Lbirds.com - Liaison aircraft, pilots, restorations, and more!... or at Chris' eCardmodels site.
