1/144 Marek A6M5 and 190d-9
Having finally gotten some photo weather (apparently today only) I now have the pictures for the last of my two Marek marathon kits.
You can tell these are some of the older type designs out there. Lots of little bits testing my patience! But, here they are, with all the little uglies that the required macro reveals.

Terrific job, Ray. They are so well done it's hard to believe they are 1/144 scale. Neither were very big fighters to begin with, so in this scale they are truly tiny. I particularly like the zero. Did you use regular bond paper, or card stock? Are the internal formers in use, or did you find that the skins were self supporting in this scale?

Very nice Ray. The detail on the Fw is stellar!

Don,
Both were done with 67lb cardstock, with the landing gear being rolled regular bond paper. And I did use some of the formers, but not both, as they are sturdy at this size.

Don't believe him! It's impossible to build those planes in 1/144 scale
Seriously now Ray, This is truly amazing what you can achieve at this scale... Maybe you could consider placing something (penny, match etc) next to them to better show how tiny those models are.

For my purposes I need them without anything to show scale as they were not built to scale. But yeah that would be cool in one pic for sure

Excellent models, Ray! Did you downsize these from the 1:50 models or the 1:33?

These were the 1/50 versions.
