Ka 50, nothing fancy
Hello
Well, it is been a while but not totally fruitless. Here are some pics of a relatively easy built from ABC (some Czech company). It was meant to be built and forgotten but turned out as a gift. Whatever, except the nose which ruins the silhouette in front of windscreen the kit is quite close to the original (in that scale because of the simplified overall layout - the bulkheads/fuselage for example). I just want to finish it as fast as possible and thus didn't go rather deep into detailing. The rotors are the only area that was changed - swash plates and pitch change rods, simplified as it could only by possible while still representing the working principle bla bla bla... The truth is that in base kit there was nothing that would even remotely represent ways of controlling the blades. Ok so here's the first set of pictures. |
