Bending paper around a round object is not very good method - the paper tends to round unevenly. The best way I know is to put the part, printed side down on a soft surface - like a backside of a mousepad and press with a metal rod. The resulting bend is very even. I've shown this technique (on a small parts) here. With the wing you simply need to use longer rod - steel is rigid enough - wood could break, and other metals could bend when pressing.

Finished at last
I have completed my second airplane, the FW-190 A3, a lot of kinks i have learned from this and hopefully will be able to apply that to future builds. Especially the ones involving the curvatures and dry fitting. It was very enjoyable. Thanks to all your advices and support.

Despite a few folds here and there, it looks like the kit built up into a nice looking model. Congratulations, glad you enjoyed it and I look forward to your next one!
