Headache!
Dear all,
After I converted the paper model patterns to PDF. files for free download for our community this morning. I found that the maximum capacity for PDF. file is limited to 200 mbh. while my file is 2796 mbh. It makes me headache the whole day for downloading these patterns as I promise to your people. Any one has any idea for resize the PDF. file or changing it to other alternatives due to my computer knowledge is very limited. Your kind assistance over this problem will be highly appreciated. I thank you in advance for solving this problem for me which will enable US to have the models as my promise. I am sorry for this inconvenience. Best regards, Chaiwat :( |

The question is, are you trying to put all of the patterns in one file? Or is that for just one aircraft? Perhaps breaking them down into individual files might be better?

200 mbh?... is that mb (megabyte)?
and your file is 2796mb?...thats two and a half gigabytes!! have you put many files into one bundle? you need to upload them as individual model files (in PDF) most online file storage services allow a 100mb or 200mb max upload and large files need to be broken into segments. (you download all segments and then they will reassemble when extracting/unpacking the file) If you have already saved each model as a PDF, then upload them individually to a file storage site (like "MediaFire") or send them here for the "Download" section. Personally I would do the first option...and you can still offer a link to the file in the download section.

Chaiwat,
You have not answered the questions posed by Ray and Dave. What is your total file size, and can you break it up into smaller parts?

maybe its me, but I have no idea what "kbh" is?
(or "mbh") I think you must be talking about kb (kilobyte) or mb (megabyte) 3500 kb is only 3mb 3mb could be sent in an email! so that shouldn't be a problem to upload anywhere! if your single model file is 3500mb...thats over 3 gb (gigabytes)!! I don't see how you PDF could be that big?!! unless this is many, many models, all packaged into one BIG pdf??!! Do not change anything into a jpeg! Save your model files directly into pdfs. (you can use a jpeg compression in the pdf to make a smaller file if necessary) You said you already saved each model file to a pdf...? what program are the original model files? what is the size of the original model file? what is the size of the pdf from that ONE model file? and what program did you use to create this big pdf package? ps...I have a feeling there is going to be a language issue here...

Convert the graphic files to bit mapped format at the resolution you want for the printout, typically 300DPI for a high quality image file. If you are using a vector file format with multiple layers Acrobat will attempt to represent the graphic at a lower resolution but the file still has the original resolution image stored. This is may be why your files are so large.
