My DGA Competition Build Models

Now that the contest is finished, I wanted take a photo of all the models I built during the DGA Build contest Chris sponsored in exchange for photos.

I completed 30 different models...and one repeat by accident...for a total of 31. I tried getting a good angle to get them all in, but as I built mine full scale at 1/48 it was tough to get them in one frame.....I had to go upstairs and shoot down from the second floor to get the models in one frame.

As you can see, I completed one SV-4C up front, two P-80's, 18 T-33's and 10 Hawker Hunters.

Here is the first group shot from the side going up the stairs.

Next up is the shot looking down from the second floor

And last, we have all the models gathered up for transport to be put upstairs.

I'll try to get shots of each model close up and post here when I get free time showing the details of various models and how each are painted underneath if there is something different from the normal solid color.

Excellent, Robert!

Your production is formidable.

I'm glad that, along with the Halinskis of the world, there are also DGA, FG, LadnDad, Nobi, Roman and other such 1/48 and similar scale models that can be turned into decent replicas. I'm happy to get one finished every few months and your rapid production of such well-built models is most impressive.

Congratulations also on the well-deserved Picture of the Week of this magnificent Balbo of aircraft.

Don

:o thanks, but perhaps Jan could because he made his fleet in 1/200. Now that is a feat.

Congrats on getting POTW! I think that is a high honor when you consider the fabulous modelers that hang around in this forum.
