Fairchild AU-23 A Peacemaker/ Pilatus PC6
Happy new year 2010 to you all.
This new paper model for 2010 is Fairchild AU-23 A Peacemaker scale 1/72, printed on 80ghm white paper. It has the flying capability as usual and. moreover, its propeller will roate when it is airborne in the sky. I will paint it soon with Wing 5, Prachubkirikran, commorflage. This squadron is the last wing in the world that station with the AU-23 , shark nose decoration, peacemaker.

That looks really fine and I can't wait to see the finished product offered. I've only ever built one airplane -- FG's X-15 -- but I'm planning on tackling this one because the Turbo-Porter has long been one of my favorite aircraft. But after a few years of building launch vehicles, spacecraft and satellites, an airplane is going to be scary territory for me....

When it is available, where will it be available? Cost?
Also, you said it is 1/72nd scale, and maybe it is just me, but in the photos, it looks bigger than that. Is it just me? And if we want to build it in a larger scale, will we be able to enlarge it? |

Dear Dhanners,
Actually, the real Fairchild AU+23 a 's length is around 14 meter so its size at 1/100 scale is 14 cm. You may not familiar with this airplane but we do familiar with this big truck because I also once being a passenger in this airplane. It's a big utility one. In the paper pattern, even you enlarge it, it may loose some accuracy and precision, however, in small scale, this one is fine.

Thanks. I know it's not a small airplane, but I was thinking it would be a cool build in 1/48th or 1/32nd.
Looking forward to it at whatever scale.... |

I do not know how you can build such a variety of planes in such a short time and with such a high quality. I was wondering if you could post what you eat in 30 days as I believe you must be eating great and right to have such energy.

HaHaHaHa! Thanks Zathros,
Actually, my model had no structure and this speed is very slow if compare to some of my student who enjoy assebly the model roughly, without any details. I am having Thai hotdog and it is probably my fuel for workling on them.

Sorry Dhanners, I was too busy training kids for building paper airplane and TV show last week.
The project is pending because now I am too busy for the other projects, including of new bigger flying Raptor, F-35 Lighting, F-18 E and L-39 Albatros for the new RTAF museum visit for transferring of knowledge of how to airborne the paper model. It may take quite a while for finish this AU-23
