Gone together well. You can see how it was often mistaken for a Hurricane.

Well, I finished the elevator. I chose the option with separate rudders.Parts went together fine but the fairings to the side rudder were tricky, I´m not really satisfied with them. Also, the oil cooler was done; it was hardenened, sanded ant painted. The paint needs to be lightened up.

As an interim I finished the intrerior of the turret. It fits quite taut into it´s opening in the fusalage. The fairing behind the cockpit was also added. I used the double-glue-tape ? method to fix the frame to the overhead tansparency foil.

I cheated and went to our friends German Forum and checked your thread there too, was wondering if you ever have looked at the following web site: JB Models, AU.com, has some really interesting barrels for aircraft, they are 1/32, but we can still use for the scale as paper model aircraft are designed for. Just so happens he has the type gun barrels for this application. Enjoying the build, the turret turned out wonda ba.:DRick

I started with the wing center section, first ribs and stringers hat to be put together. To shape the leading edge of the skin it ws helpful to apply water with a brush before shaping. The skeleton was glued to the underside. To insert the landing gear bay I had to cut off one rib. After attaching the bay I glued the upper side of the wing skin. A first fitting test proved satisfying.

Looks good Hans! I've been wondering about the fit on this kit. Is the reason you are painting the bottom because the bottom color is misprinted?
