Maybe not forever but I certainly wouldn't get your hopes up.

Whew! Glad it's not forever!

How's your military version of the Super Corsair coming along?

I actually did some work on it within the last week. Right now the idea is to just get the kit released without all the fancy stuff I had planned such as the folding wings and so forth. But it is a back burner project. Only a little every once in awhile.

Thanks Billy that's a very generous offer and I'll take you up on it if the time comes.

All these posts have gotten me thinking of trying to get the model done. It wouldn't be as fancy as originally planned (no seperate control surfaces etc) but I could get it released easier.

Will,

I know I've mentioned before elsewhere....your models are top notch. No matter if the have separate control surfaces or not. I know there are loads of others here on PM that are waiting for both of your models (XP-72 & Military Corsair) :D

I appreciate that Robert.

Just so everyone knows I have resumed work on the Ultrabolt. I sent Robert the outer wing panels and tail feathers in the last week.

The plan is for now is just to do a really simple version ie no separate control surfaces. All the detail that has been designed will be left in but in order to get the project out the door I'm going to simplify things.

Major things left to do include:

1.Prop hub and blades (65% done)
2.Fillets around tail surfaces (not yet started)
3.Main landing gear and doors (not yet started)
4.Canopy (50% done)
5.Instructions(20% done)

And here I am to acknowledge that Will did in fact send me the wings and tail surfaces :D...I printed them out the day he emailed them to me.

Now, to get them cut out and glued on. Should be able to get it done in the next day or so. Been a busy weekend. Keep an eye out for pictures.
