I wasn't sure if I had tried to build the same model, but now I'm positive. That piece didn't fit on mine either. I ended up just junking the build, but yours looks much better!

Yeah, the fit on a number of pieces isn't good. And it's not my bad building, either. The kit has good and bad to it.
I'm calling this one done.






Some of the fit is excellent and some of the fit is unforgivably bad, especially the underside and the canopy sections. Still, with a little extra effort you wind up with a pretty decent looking model. To my eye, it looks a lot better than the MM, IPM, Try Krapki and a couple of other publishers' kits. And it looks just fine hanging on the Wall. Overall, I'm happy with it.
