Same here, I was hoping to start on this one next week. The model looks real good although the engine is a little simple.
Nice start on the cockpit. I'll be watching this one. Have a good one.

I'm not very happy with the way the skins are going on and the color I'm using for edge coloring is too light. There are also some definite alignment problems particularly with panel lines.
I have been building using the former and joining strip method (as designed). I don't usually build this way. I prefer former to former or former to skin edge butt joints. I am planning to remove the skins and recover what formers I can and hopefully the cockpit. Then I will try skinning it using my preferred method. Hopefully this will help with the alignment problem and give me tighter joints. |

MODEL KARTONOWE! That’s where I downloaded my first airplane model years back. I still remember the days building Polikarpov I-16 with absorbed interest then was deep into paper model!
As long as I remember, the kit’s former size was rather large so I had to push former into the skin with brute force. I hope the new method will work |
