Thanks for your kind words guys I'm really grateful to have this model to work on. Sorry about the lack of posts lately. I did manage to punch out a few parts to make the front end of the fuselage look more complete than she was. The guns are really simple...2 tubes. The small panels on the sides were added along with what I believe are air intakes. I added some cuts to the panels and pushed them out slightly to emulate the ventilation slots. Next up is the cockpit along with the challenge of joining the front and rear fuselage pieces without making a mess. Looking at the rear part of the fuselage now...I might do it over again

More to come tomorrow I hope (if I get it together!) with a little bit more on the MoS 'L" and the E.III too

Nite all
Ron

That is one absolutely beautiful model, Ron. The photos got my day off to a good start.

That's an incredibly clean build. Great work on the front cowling and vent panels - the cuts and raised metal really add to the effect.

I'm glad you're posting this, as I've been tasked with building Roman's Rickenbacker Spad in 1:72 once I complete my current Aces build, to compare against my FG Spad in Rickenbacker colors. Looks like I'll have my work cut out for me - you've set the bar high my friend.
