P.A. P-40C Warhawk AVG

Already planning my next plane...ohhh my, the bug is biting hard!! Ok, I love the P-40...any style, any color and I chose this one from Paper AircraftWerks:

I already have a question maybe some of you can help me with...on the instructions page it has a section for the cockpit...where in the world do parts 5a go?!!? One seems to go in between two boxes on the cockpit wall, and the other seems to be mounted in the floor! I'm guessing this isn't right...

Looks just like a slight oversight..but I'm not sure where they should go...also, did I mention I downloaded this from ecardmodels.com?

Thanks for any help!

one goes on the floor inside the slightly offset white circle. It looks like the othre goes in the upper corner of box 1 next to box 2.

Don't let the lack of enough diagrams on this one get to you. Download all the photos that Chris has up on the ecardmodels site for reference and they'll help a lot. I've had this one for a while now and I'm really looking forward to seeing your build!

Well guys, you'll have to forgive me...I had never, ever seen a gauge in the floor of a cockpit...until now. Apparently it is a fuel gauge mounted on "top of the wing" which is, in fact, the cockpit floor...lol

I'm guessing the other is an additional gauge...many thanks everyone!

A little sneek peek...I'll be going full bore on this one in a few days...

I got a little carried away with the size of the holes...but all in all, they look really good put together...I was shocked how good they looked in fact! Not sure how I will glue it together though...lol

Well, I've done a bunch of work on the P-40...I've had camera issues for a long while now, but those are remedied...so pictures are forthcoming!

Here is the instrument panel...

and a bunch of front office parts!

I have more photos I'll share tomorrow as I have almost finished with the cockpit now...
