Excellent work on the distinctive American Airlines livery. I wondered how this method of individulaizing the aircraft would work out -- you have set the standard.

Fuselodge Decoration and tail assembly done

Ahoy
Here are the attachments of the completion of the tail assembly and the airline decoration. Next assembly will be the wings. The wings are constructed in a Rib and diagnal spar construction alowing a warp free wing assembly and very strong. I pre colored the leading edges of the wings Red and letting these dry. When wing assembly is finished I will install the Red leading edge color then install the wings. As of now letting these assemblys dry well and I will do some more burnishing Here are the update attachments

Wing Structure Layout and assembly

Ahoy fellas
Ok I didn,t get to much done today Been prepareing and working on the B-17 Beta build a lot of work ahead of me I wouldn,t have it any other way A labor of love. Ok for today I cutted out the wing assembly I made the center wing box ribbed and spar assembly. Here again the genious of Mr. Peter Zorn the designing of this structure boxed assebly proves a very strong warp free wing when finished. This is a very delightfull build not complicated at all even for the novis at heart, with the step by step instructions you cant go wrong no fit issues at all fits like a glove. For todays attachments I have the center wing boxed rib and spar assembly. and the staboard wing cutted out being prepared for assembly tommorow I will have the wing done alonmg with the decoration on the leading edge. The red color has been done all ready in advace so after the wing is done and dried i can place the red on the leading edge of the wing. here is thge attchments

Looks good. I see the under-construction Flying Fort lurking in the background.
