Hey...... Thanks guys, glad you are up for this one ! hell yes she's a HUGE beast for sure. She got the nick name BUFF, which just isn't right ! Yes she's Big.. she sure aint Ugly, and she is a SHE not a Fat Fella The best plane to ever set wing on a cloud. I have started work on the engine nacelles today - Laminated formers onto 1mm card {68 pieces} Will post pictures when the formers are all glued together then i will apply the skins to these. I will be removing the glue tabs, and attaching form behind to give butt joints to ALL surfaces - this makes a long job longer, but well worth it for a flush fit. So my next post will have the pictures - until then, thanks for your support guys. Tried to give the video to play on here, but YOU TUBE took exception to that and wanted it played on site, so here's the link... enjoy.

Hi Peter - glad someone does the beast too.
I once did it and recolored it to the NASA Mothership "Balls 3". Pictures and a report can be found here : http://www.kartonbau.de/wbb2/thread....d=13239&page=5

From my fading memories i can tell you that fit is rather bad and the worst thing were the engines. Also reinforce the three main spars or lengthen them to intrude the main wing box. My Buff is hanging on the ceiling and slowly lowers her wings :(.

One thing left to say : Go ! Go ! Go ! :D

kind regards,
Wolfgang
