Looks like it will take several hundreds of hours for its completion. But from your posts, it is sure that since you love so much the B-52 they will be hundreds of hours of pleasure in the building process.

I will surely be following this thread.
Thank you, and i hope you enjoy your flight here sir

Finished Cockpit Panel

Peter
Here is the finished panel. I mocked it up quickly just to make sure of the fit. Some minor trimming necessary. I just printed it out on paper and laid it right over the original. Hope this helps

Hi Guys. Well i decided to build the cockpit next, and have built the seats. I re-painted them in PSP and designed a harness to make the seats look more complete. I know the harness doesn't replicate the real deal, but close-ish I had to do something extra so that the cockpit is worthy of Mike Dixons wonderful Panels - THANKS MIKE These will be used and the next up-date will see the cockpit completed - I think i have sussed out where to place the lighting . So here are the attachments for the seats.

So you're saying that you'd be jealous as I've Been in a B-52 cockpit?!?

Okay, I cheated. It was a B-52 cockpit training module, but it has ALL of the same switches, knobs, and do-dads as the real thing. I have been in the bomb bay of the Buff at the museum. BIIIIIIIIIIGG!!!!!!!!

Does it count if I've had my head in one of the main gear bays of the B-52 at Duxford...? :p
