The Stratofortress 1:33 Scale

Hi guys. Firstly i wish to thank Ron {Ron40} for sending me this original card model of the one and only Boeing B-52 Stratofortress {GPM #66} 1:33 scale. I thought all my Birthdays had come at once when Ron offered to send this to me, and at great expense to himself... a true Gentleman and friend. Thanks Ron. For those of you that don't know this aircraft, and more particularly this model of her and the size when finished, i have attached a picture to give you some idea of what's going to be coming up I managed to get ground clearance from the good lady wife { Chez } to go ahead with this Giant... lord knows where she will be placed when complete a tad too big for a coffee table display :D Because of the size and the area required to build her, i will be starting with the smaller parts - Engine assemblies - Undercarriage assemblies and anything else that can be stored aside safely. The build process will be somewhat slow, time is in very short supply, but i will do my best to keep some flow running. All i can now say is this... The BUFF is MY favourite aircraft of all time EVER !! you guys who know me will be quite aware of this So stay tuned, and enjoy the ride guys.

Peter,

This is a HUGE aircraft! It will be exciting to watch this beast come together.

Good luck; and we'll be watching!

So you went and done it now, eh Peter? Well, being that this is your baby, I've no doubt you'll do it up right. Keep the goal in mind and have lots of fun (I think you will).

I have this kit too and I gotta be honest. There is no where for me to put it if it was completed. I'm thinking for me, this is a guaranteed no build. =X

I would recommend building this in such a way that you can disassemble it.
