I'll redo them all on proper weight paper. In fact I have started on Yak 130 on 130 gm paper (same number but just coincidental), the fuselage looks nice and it should fly beautifully.

Disaster - while playing around with the pdf file on the Yak130, accidentally pushed a button here and there and holy smoke it can't be opened again. Luckily, I have got two built already and will fly them later on. Unluckily, the printouts have been built and thus could not be scanned to make a fresh print-out. So, maybe we'll have to wait until Ojimak releases it again.

Now back to business with some more updates.

Airbrake and hydraulic arm installed. So are the vertical (slanted in fact) stabilizers.
Hopefully what will be shown in the next update should be the intake plates and both the intakes.

Intakes and intake plates are attached to the fuselage.

The horizontal stabilizers are also installed. One of them is shown dipped in water to soften it before scrapping off layers and applying PVA glue.

The missile launchers on the wing tip are in place.

All the parts apart from the canopy are now fixed and the plane itself looks good.

Another version of F-18 is side by side with the Hornet. Guess which version is it?

Okay, will start working on the landing gears etc.

Werner, don't underestimate your abilities to do something that you never think you can achieve. Just try and try and try and you'll get there.
What do you think, I do these small scales by my naked eyes? No, I can't do it without optical aid like OptiVISOR which is normally used by people in the jewellery trade. Mine is 2X, which is good enough. Don't go for the 4X like I did as it made me dizzy.
Of course, you have to be crazy enough like me to do what few others do.

Tonight, I can only post one picture as the latest update of this project.
These darn little devils takes longer than expected to make and are pretty hard to glue them together, especially if you have the TV on while working on it.
Thus I can only finish just one complete missile. But I managed to make a canopy mould out of balsa wood covered with a few layers of PVA after sanding it. Vacum-formed or heat-formed canopy will come later. This mould will be useful for my collection of tiny hornets, that is, if I have the time and concentration to finish all of them.

BTW, the white hornet in the last post is the NASA version. It would have been easier had I shown you the sideview.

I'm all inspired by so many masters on this forum. To name a few - Large-scale by AirDave, and smaller-scales by Jan, Chia and Texman. Their works are exceptionally fantastic and very well received. So are many more precision-minded modelers here, do pardon me if I fail to mention their names. I'm just a learner and more of a builder. How I wish I could be a designer as well.

Latest updates on the minute hornet.....is there a word "hornetlet" to show its smallness?

Well, no words, just pictures. Missiles are not yet glued and canopy for the cockpit awaits completion.
