IJN Agano

I think I finally found a Japanese cruiser that has not been done in card. Something to play with when I feel like kicking Enterprise out of the window. She is a light 6" gun cruiser/Flotilla leader carries 2 float planes but did not get the ugly hanger treatment.

A bit more progress

Thanks for the comments sorry I seem unable to keep up these days

Strange ship it has all sorts of semi-streamlined shelters etc.

Agano update

I have been trawling the net to find odd bits of information on Agano so she has changed a bit since the last picture. The hardest thing to find was the position of the torpedo reload storage.

I usually get the itch to start something else when I get to the last few bits on a big model like Enterprise and Richelieu and both of them are in that state. I need a smaller model for a couple of weeks.

Agano seems to be unrolling without too much hassle at the moment which is also a big help. I am still not satisfied with the 3 barrel AA and the 20mm AA does need a rework.

Darn you're good. This is a welcome addition to the lesser modeled in card fleet. I get tired of the same old Bismarck/ Yamato re-design re-released, done and overdone sameness. Be following along with eagerness!

Hi Barry,

Oh yeah, another IJN Cruiser that has yet to be done in card model form, I am definitely up for this one. I have been tinkering at the parts and pieces for the Nagatsuki getting them all lined up and detailed a bit more as well as checking out other Mutsuki Class builds for information. This is a welcome bit of news.

Thank you all for dropping by yet again like Cmdrted I like to do something different. The only battleship I would really like to build is HMS Vanguard but first I would have to get of a lot of other big ones. Got to do that someday soon. Anybody any ideas what to do with them.
