thats exactly the way you have to look at some of the "piracy"
... a method of promoting your names and products.
(I know its not a solution to "piracy" but at least it offers some minor consolation)

people who wouldn't normally show up at Chris's store might end up doing so because they
downloaded and liked Barry's model and then hunted down the store or the manufacturers name.

its when they bother to remove the names and logos, that it is really unfair.
if you are going to share the file without permission, at least have the decency to leave the original information in place!

I hate to say it...but if you eliminated all piracy and file sharing on the web, there would be a lot of unknown artists, and sales would not increase.
Many music artists have recognized this and support file sharing for the purpose of wider promotion and advertising.
You would also drive yourself crazy trying to keep up with all the pirates!
Just look at Chris!...we all know he's nuts now!

Besides most people that come across these sites or NOT looking for a pirate site at all they are looking for something else totally. When i started card modeling it was not. a spark of interest I was trying to find out how to fix a light in a car and it brought me to a card model site. where someone was buiding a card model of the car and it was really cool and got me then looking for the kind of stuff I like. Do I stilll have not found a card model of Beyonce I still look do

After reading your forum, we have closed the links to download the «Sealand Express» on our site.

We are not tried to close Your logo. If you look at the all other covers, our logo is automatically put in the lower right corner.
Excuse my bad English, i from «far away in Russia». If you have any further questions - contact to someone from the site administration.

Thank you Nozo

Unexpected but very nice service.

@ Airdave well it makes a pleasant change and at least they left the advertising on the cover much better than rubbibg them out.

Thanks for all the help
