Messerschmitt Me 109 F - Tunisia 1943

Would anyone like to test build my Me 109 prior to offering this model up to the shop.

PDF includes 2 pages of parts plus instructions.

Please PM or email.

JT, I'm supposed to be working on something else for Avery, but he hasn't sent me anything yet, and he has not been around for a week. So if you want me to have a go at it I will volunteer. Let me know. My best.

Sorry for the delay, life tends to get in the way. First off the graphics are very good. This pic is of the formers and the main body of the plane.

Next is all the main pieces to the plane. The only fit problems I had was the formers were a bit on the big side. Had to trim them down a bit even well inside the lines. Might be cause I used #110 card stock. One thing that is a bit confusing is which tabs are mountain folded and which are valley folded. Still figuring them out as I go. So far things are looking good.

Re: Messerschmitt Me 109 F - Tunisia 1943

Hi Cardstalker.

You may need to check the formers you have done. In your first picture the front former appears to be upside down.

In the second picture you have a former in the rear fuselage section. I don't recall placing one there, I think you may have put the front plate there by mistake, I'll check the instructions.

As for the size of formers. I did have the same problem. Depending on paper weight and type the size requirement changed so I left the former on the large size with a comment in the instructions to trim as required.

Cheers JTF
