Of course, proportions are off a little, but you will be able to figure the concept. Are we getting closer?

As the person who first mentioned a rumble seat on this thread, let me also be the first to point out that they do not go with just any car, and certainly do not go with the spectacular, sweeping curves of your design. Nor, to my way of thinking, does a rumble seat go with a hardtop. So I'd leave it out of this first mark of the CamiMobile. If you later develop a convertible variant, that would be a better home for a rumble seat.

If this design were for a real car, your target customers would be millionaire playboys. The convertible/rumble-seat variant would be for their sons -- and perhaps daughters.

Same front, but a different rear treatment for this convertible. I think the rumble seat will fit in.

Station Wagon?

Dear Cami:
What would the CAMIMOBILE I look like as a station wagon to fit a string bass? My 11 year old daughter is learning to play one, currently driving a old ford escort. Question to the car folks what was the first station wagon?
Thanks,
MILES

Your question needs to be clarified. The first 'station' wagons were trucks fitted to transport passengers and goods around train stations. Do you mean the first station wagon that was a car? or the actual first station wagon?

The first station wagon? (This is not a simple question to answer.)

See: A station wagon history.....

1923 Star was the first 'production' station wagon.

Interesting question Miles. There is something about station wagons that makes them so cool and that era means woody wagons... I like the idea, but will focus on the coupe first and then will be able to figure other versions. If I have a few minutes left in the next days, I will try to make a quick sketch just for fun!
