1948 Tucker
Hi guys,
You think the Tucker is rare? The 1/43 scale paper Tucker is even more! These are the only 2 known to exist in the world!!! Ha ha! I will have many more to build to improve my techniques on this one. Cami |

omigosh! All those swoops and curves ... did you do those because you lost a bet, or was it a personal challenge? Whichever the case, you did an excellent job.

I love them, Cami. The '40s body styles are a good choice for you because you are so good at designing curved auto body shapes. Keep up the good work.

Another beautiful design! Clearly you have a talent for handling those complex curves in paper! That's a useful skill if you have a love for those late 40s to early 50s auto styles.
I wonder what kind of paper or finish you are using to achieve that glossy sheen? Whatever combination of techniques and materials you employed, it looks great, very suitable for this kind of modeling subject. |

Thanks guys,
curves are an exciting challenge, but sadly, I believe that is one of the reasons why these subjects are overlook by some designers or maybe it is just because there are so many other exciting subjects among contemporary cars. I just love antique cars! I use 48lb Kodak photo paper, contact cement and a variety of common objects (I mean very common like pens, wood sticks, the oven handle... very common stuff) with different radius sizes that allow me to shape the paper before I assemble all the parts together.
