Still Alive!

Hi guys, Chris Gutzmer informed me about 2 weeks ago (I am not regurlarly reading my mails so I read his message this morning:0) that some of you were worried because I was not showing on the forum.

I want to let you know that I am fine. I am back at school to become a machinist and I can't tell you how cool it is!!!! School is time consuming, so I felt the need to take a break from paper modeling, but we all know that there is no cure for such a passion. Sooner or later I will have to come back!!!

Cami

Glad you are doing well. Will you bring your website back at some point?

Good to hear from you, Cami!

Learning machining sounds like great fun, and it is an exceptionally valuable skill.

We're looking forward to future models and wish you the best in your current endeavor.

Thanks guys!

VK, I am not planning to bring the website back. If I have to post something, it will be on this forum.

Cami, as long as your cars are available at the ecardmodels site we can still find and buy them. Kudos on learning the machinist trade. I heard recently that there are 26,000 unfilled machine operator jobs available in the US due to a lack of qualified candidates.

Curt,

the situation here is pretty much the same and massive retirements in the next few years will make it even harder for companies to find qualified machinists... sounds good for me!!!$$$$$$$$$

Good to hear you're alive and well Cami.

You get your own life sorted gal, I can wait for the Hudson

Not too long though ... my three score years and ten life expectancy is nearly over, but I'll stretch it as far as I can.

Best wishes ... Johnny.
