Nice, simple truck. Looks good.

You could release an outline version without the colors so someone could print on colored card stock or paper. Maybe leave some of the detail lines like on those uprights on the truck bed. They might not show on the colored card stock with the same color, but they would still supply some of the detail.

The step-by-step images are very helpful, Cami.

This truck interests me, as I am currently trying to build at 1/24 scale the 1920s Citroen C4 stake-and-platform that will69 brought to our attention (• Afficher le sujet - Ciroën C4 Ridelles). If I manage to get it together, I hope to build some other 1920s vehicles and would love to try your little truck.

I think you are right Doug, an outline version probably is the way to go. I have a few corrections to make here and there and will try it on colored paper. It is too bad that vacations are over, this will have to wait a few days.

What a brilliant idea! Those old pot iron trucks were manufactured during the '30s and '40s. You could still find a few in the early '50s, when I was a lad. Great memories making roads in front of the house. We had no sidewalks in those days where we lived, so we could play in the dirt with our metal toys, especially cars and trucks. Keep up the good work, Cami.

Thanks Garland,

Those were the days when those steel toys had a real thing feel rather than that modern day cheap stuff. I do not think that you could do what you did back then with that paper truck though!

Another beautiful vintage model from your hands. Reminds me of those old Märklin toy catalogues from the 1930-ies that my father used to treasure.
Keep going, this one will be another one for my collection!

Cheers, Martin

Maybe not, but it's fun to think about.

Here is a quick update for you guys who are interested in this project. I have created the outline files (still have to add part numbers and notes) and the second build is on the way (printed on Staples coverstock 67lb/176gsm). If everything goes well, I expect it to be ready next week. I have also add some optional Deluxe parts like a front bumper, headlight cones, an interior, a silver grille and wheels with white tires. Keep in mind that it was tought as toy rather than a real truck replica.
