Just added two of your Airflow pictures to my collection on https://www.flickr.com/photos/zeist_bouwplaten/
Do I remember correctly that at one time you were also working on another streamline car model? |

Looks great! Love the curves of the old trucks! Personally, I want a 1937 or 38 Hudson Essex Terraplane. That's my dream truck... and to build it in paper would be fantastic!

The old guy up the street had a Terraplane Coupe, the interesting thing is it was restored and painted metallic blue. I questioned him about the color and he told me it was accurate. It appears the Terraplane made their "metallic" colors by mixing their paint with fish scales. I don't know if this is true or just a rather creative story, but that was his line and he was sticking to it.

OHHHH...I need to know more about Tugboat Annie!
I smell a KoolWheelz model there. The front of the cab looks a lot like a VW Kombi...? Its way too early though. First Type 2 is 1949...the photo looks older than that.

FYI...Tugboat Annie was built by Joe Ebenhoh ..the Ebenhoh Body Shop in Sleepy Eye Minnesota in the 1940s.
He built many custom commercial vehicles for people. The shop also built similar trucks for breweries in the area. Miller Motors was a DeSoto and Plymouth Distributor an hour and a half SW of Minneapolis, located in Mankato, MN. The management was wise enough to have an eye-catching tow truck built that served as a rolling billboard for the firm. “Tugboat Annie,” built in 1937 on a cab-over-engine International truck chassis and was apparently constructed by a truck body builder. Miller Motors is still in business today, 88-years later, operating a Continental tire store, oil change facility and parts and accessory store. The business began in 1927 as a repair garage and later expanded into car sales later during the thirties. This large-sized photo from the Detroit Public Library was found at Automobilia via Ron Clark.
