missile launch??

does anyone living in cali, know what was lauched off the coast on Monday???to me it DID look like a sub launched missile.. and how is it that no one knows anything about it??not even NORAD???
when i was in the service, even if it was a test fire everyone along the chain of command knew about it.. its all part of S.I.O.P how in the world did this happen

i wonder what russian and chinesse radar operators were thinking when they saw this bird lift off and head north??
we are damn lucky !!!!
can someone that used to be in SAC tell me if im wrong or right... or anyone else that was in the service.

they are saying now it is a jet contrail seen from an unusual angle.

Interesting to note for the first time since August 21, 1959 (when passenger jets first started flying across the pacific.
a Jet Contrail was mistaken for a missile contrail, something that didn't even happen during the cold war when everybody was waiting for something like that.

jets when flying out over the pacific, invariably seem to be descending toward the water. contrails that fly west fly down... however this one is defintely climbing.

still, if somebody like say north Korea, wanted to make a statement, putting a sub off the coast of Los Angeles and launching a missile toward the west(away from the coast) the public government reaction could conceivably be "What missle?" while behind the scenes the reaction is different.

It will be interesting to see if any naval units are suddenly activated or levels of alert change.
