Friends?
I noted requests for being a "friend" on this forum. What exactly is it for? What are some of the features that I get when I am someones friend? Also I noted some have practically everyone as their friends. I thought we were all friends in that we have a common interest?
Thanks Friendless but friendly to all. Isaac |

there is no point really it doesn't tell you when one of your friends has posted anything new. I think it is a way some use to show they like the person some may know the person from other sites where they post as well. There is lots of people here I have seen on French sites, German and nearly everyother language you can think of for modeling forums

What the friends allow you to do is quickly send a private message or search for something they are building, instead of having to go through the members' list, and go through pages of nicknames just to get to that person.
Also, I think that the friends page was an attempt to cash in on the Social Media/networking craze. An easy way to keep in touch, or view what they are doing. It is a feature that is available in the forum operating system, so We admins thought it might be something fun. Rick
