Why?

Why can I turn a pile of paper in to a dragon but i canīt wrap those Christmas presents nicely? (question asked by my "Government").
So, tell me , can I call myself a papermodeller?

Your "Government" doesn't appreciate the fine skills it takes to assemble a paper model. Perhaps if your "Government" gave you the wrapping printed as a kit, your "Government" could best see the beauty in your skills!

If wrapping paper came with proper cutting and folding lines like a good cardmodel life would be much easier for all of us.

My "government" on the other hand refuses to allow me to wrap gifts.
She says I take too long measuring and pre-creasing, pleating, and hiding the seams.
Overkill for something that will be ripped apart in 30 seconds.

Do you use join strips or tabs on them?

I believe most modellers would agree on the external join strips in this instance.
