Talking New year's resolution/wows/intentions/wishes/hopes...

as 2011 is just around the corner, i wonder what expectations you might have on this new year
it would be interesting at the end of 2011 to look back and see if we accomplished any of our things

for myself i want to become even better at cutting and glueing, the cutting bit is going so well now that i try on the titanic in 1:200 from Taschen, one of the three i have was allready started on by previous owner so i figured i'll try it

and now that i'm getting steadier hands i'm going to start doing my plastic models as well

familywise i intend to be a better husband and father (always room for improvement )

what about you?

To hell with family! Arranged a big christmas dinner. Parents didn't bother turning up.

Work can go screw itself.

I will be building more models next year.

But on the brighter side of things, You do not have to cook for a few days with all the left overs. With every bite happy thoughts are conjoured... "They do not know what they missed!"

In the words of Homer Simpson "HMMMM... left overs..." as the grease dribbles onto front of your T-shirt.

My modeling goals for 2011:

1) Finish the Jak!!
2) Complete at least the hull on my wooden HMS Fly in time for the Western Model Ship Conference & Exhibit the first weekend in April (don't know how realistic this goal is)!
3) Build a Halinski kit!
4) Build a paper model without any gaps in the seams, glue smears, warped edges, misaligned parts, etc. (Yeah, right!!)

Happy new year to all of you!

I am going to work more on restoring my health. It's going good, and getting better.

I am going to get started on getting a bit more secure with my families finances. To that end I want to double my DTV sales, I had just over 80 this year. I started in April).

For model design, I want to do some full hulled ships, larger scale ships, and have a fleet of 100 1/250 scale waterline Civil War ships available. (I have 28 now).

For model building I want to finish the Marek models I have printed out (a couple for a year now!)

And convince my wife to put out her novel to at least three publishers this year, and I shall do the same with mine.

I simply want a wall as cool as sidewinders. My goal is to knock one gun out per month. By 2012, I should have an awesome wall!
