Rats- Weather Forecast Kenai, AK | Kenai Weather | Wunderground

Yes, it snowed most of the day, and looks like it will continue tonight, still setting my alarm just in case, but it is solid overcast now that it is time for some sleep...

Forecast doesn't look good for the whole week to see any of them.

Nice photo. How did you take it. I've bought a tripod for the night shots. Can you do it hand-held?

Going to Iceland in January on a tour hoping to see the Lights. It's been a great year for the Lights and it supposed to continue through next year. Hope weather and other conditions cooperate.
Going up to Aukeryeri (sp?) on the northern fjords, though the Lights are seen as far down as Reykjavik.

Not my photo. It is the local newspaper link.

Hope you enjoy your travels!

Is your camera digital or film?

Taken photos at night with my digital camera, it has the equivalent of flim speed - iso 1000. Depressing the button causes blurring, so make sure the tripod is well anchored.

Mike, my camera is digital. Have been practicing with all the controls and settings as this one is new. Can set the iso as high as 3200, though I can imagine how that would look, artifacts-wise.
I'm planning on using a two-second shutter delay when on. The tripod.
