Help identifying an airplane
Hello!
Today I bought a couple of old airplane magazines, and inside one of them there was an old B/W photo of an airplane I cannot identify. (Actually, there's a lot of planes I can't call by their name) This one in particular looks nice. I like the fiery looks. Maybe is just the angle of the photo. And I became interested in knowing which plane is it because the photo is original. Glossy paper, 20X25 cms. Here's a closeup. It looks like the inside of an assembly line or factory, because other planes and fuselages can be seen too. From the insignia, and a seal in the back of the photo I suppose this is a British aircraft. "British Aircraft Corporation - Preston Division" The signature of the photographer (I guess). Is just curiosity. I don't know/care if the photo has any historical or commercial value. Just interested in knowing what airplane is. Thanks a lot in advance for any info.

I am fairly certain it is some variation of the English Electric Canberra.

Wow! that was fast!
Thanks a lot for the info and the links! It's interesting to learn new things I'm surprised to learn that this airplane is rather old (1949). It has nice lines.
