Bad webhosts :(

Nobody will have noticed but my site has been experiencing 'difficulties' for a while now, the latest 'difficulties' are a BLOCKED domain at co.cc.
So I asked the admin to look into it, they said it was a spam, phishing or malware site, but they did ask about the content and I gave them the root address so they could look at it.
They unblocked it a week ago, obviously not a spam, phishing or malware site, but yesterday it became BLOCKED again, my bottom lip is starting to quiver at this point, someone or something is reporting my site as a bad site.

Guess what I found in my mailbox today......

Dear Valued Customer We have noticed that your free hosting account name hosting the domains codex34.byethost22.com modularspacetoys.co.cc has became quite successful. While free hosting accounts are great, we do recommend successful sites to upgrade to premium hosting before limits are reached of the free hosting account. We would like to invite you to check our premium hosting plans at http://byethost.com/paid-hosting Every paid hosting account includes a free domain name, unlimited disk space, unlimited file sizes, no daily / monthly CPU limits and are hosted on severs up-to 4 times faster than free hosting! The price to upgrade your free hosting website to premium starts at only $3.99 per month. To place an order for a premium hosting account upgrade, please visit http://securesignup.net/portal/order.php Best Regards
Now then, now then, i've not even hit 3,000 visitors yet, for some reason or another the site keeps going down so i'm not getting anywhere near the limits.
Am I paranoid or is this hard selling beyond a joke?
I'm supposed to pay a hosting company money when they deliberately block my site by reporting it themselves?
I've searched for free sites that try to build a good reputation, there aren't any, it's paid hosting or nothing.
Drives you mad it does.
Guess i'll go save up for paid hosting, not with byethost though. 'bye t host'
Might buy some rope instead though :(

If you or anyone is looking for Domain or WebHosting, can I recommend FXDomains.

I have been buying from them for years now...and I have arranged domains and hosting plans for others, through them aswell.

No problems.
No blockages.
No issues whatsoever!
And there pricing is as good as or better than anyone else.

Even GoDaddy, one of the biggest companies, has issues with blocked sites.
Because they are associated with way too much Porn and Junk sites.

just my two cents

we used to use go daddy but dropped them when they charged us twice in a billing period. this caused an account i have set aside for our site to become overdrawn. they refunded my second charge, but would not cover the overdraft fee (which was more). the bank wouldn't back me up so i switched to homestead AND changed banks. go daddy is a nightmare....

Uhm, if ANY mail starts without your name, delete it. It is most likely to be a scam or a phishing attempt.

Look in to another web host site.

But remember in this world nothing is free and that includes the internet.
