Large R/C Biplane
Dumb question time. Would anyone here know what a 52" wingspan R/C sport biplane airframe would be worth? No engine or radio, not sure if there are still any servos in it. I picked it up a few years ago, and will never be able to fly it, so I need to look into selling it. I also have a set of Fokker DR.1 wings, with a span of 67". I think the servos are still in those.
I considered eBay, but packing and shipping this monster isn't something I think would be worth it. So I'll try Craigslist with local pick up, once I have an idea how much to ask. Scott K. |

Minimal a couple of $100 dollars. That's a serious plane. The only problem is that without seeing how the frame was done, it will be hard to get top dollar. I would try to sell it locally, consign it to a hobby shop, where someone could see how it's made.

Thanks, Zathros. That's about the range I thought it might go for. There is a hobby shop in my area with a good R/C section, I just haven't been able to get to it lately.
