has anyone built Canons Parthenon

Does part 17 touch the base part of the school project this and we are stuck now till we find out it looks like it does but wanna be sure don't want to have to start over them lattice things for the columns was not easy to get right

I built this as a school project too. Part 17 has to slide through part 12. There are tabs on part 12 that secure 17 in place.

I found this part a little confusing, but with plenty of dry runs it all makes sense.

Apart from that it build into a really nice kit.
