Harry Potter

So, how many others out there plan on getting and reading the new Harry Potter book in the near future? Thanks to my wife, ours is already in transit, but I'll be #2 in line to read it (last time she worked the day it came out and I read it first - she wasn't real happy with me ).

My wife works at a book store. They're gearing up for a big midnight sale tonight. I'll have it tomorrow - I read much faster than she - and have my nose in it. Yup. I'm a geek.

I'll be picking it up tomorrow... I'm too old to do the midnight release thing anymore.

I would, But My Wal-Mart is not open 24Hrs, so I will have to wait until 6 AM.
Last time I read the series I took 6 or 7 DAYS to read all 6 books!!
Now i have to catch up on all of the TREK books I have missed since the last one I bought.

Both my daughter and partner love the books picked up ours a few hours ago Partner just got home from the midnight launch, pizza, cider and reading 'til the small wee hours. My reading material is the 'forgotten voices' series of books.

I just scored a small victory. My little Bro wanted my car for a date so to return the favor he's going to pick up the book for me so I can have it when I wake up (usually 7:30). I don't go in for the midnight thing myself but hey he owes me a favor so why not?

I won't wade through the midnight masses, but I will have a copy as soon as I can.

Actually, I may stick with my plan. Now that I've seen the movie, i will re-read book six, then buy and read 7

It's a good thing the author Rowling invented Fantasy books and the concept of Wizards and Magic or we wouldn't have had all the great authors and books that came before her.
