Free Horses! Hurry. (not card models)

OK, not for my do to the smallness of my yard, but some of you might be able to help! These horses are going to slaughter if they do not find homes. My mom passed this onto me on Face Book, but I thought I would post it here on the off chance that someone here might want a pony for their birthday.

FREE ~ HORSES ~ Posting for a friend: 52 thoroughbred horses need homes. Will go to Sugarcreek this Sat. for slaughter. Gentleman died his son wants nothing to do with them. Most broodmares are broke and some are in foal weanling, yearlings, 2 yrs and 3 yrs old most are gelded. FREE and papered. Friend of the deceased is trying to find homes. 440-463-4288 Barnesville. My wife and I are involved with some animal rescue groups. I believe she knows someone who specializes in horses. I’ll pass this info on to her.

or should I? she has lots of friends and associates who frequently travel to the US for new Horses.
maybe I will pass it along.

Thanks guys. I do not know the people involved, but my mom does. I just do not like to see good animals put down if they can be saved.

snopes has the debunking info on the story it was true at one time
but it was a while ago and all the horses were adopted out. -
please dont forward or repost this information.

and in general if you feel like reposting a heartwarming or desperate/ plea for help story it's always good form to check it out on snopes first.
