Fascinating stuff, Douglas. Somehow seems appropriate to my recent and belated reading of William Gibson's work and a discussion I just had with a colleague concerning Terry Pratchett's books.

I'd be careful combining William Gibson and Terry Pratchett. That could lead to irreparable brain damage.

Both authors do seem to have the similar views when it comes to socio-economic motivators.
