1:1 1969 Mustang model project

Jonathon Brand is building a 1:1 1969 Mustang model.

When finished every part of the 1969 Mustang coupe will be recreated out of paper in 1:1 scale

All this to get a Diamond engagement ring? His marriage surely won't last. Incredible project, for all the effort, he could have takn a part time job somewhere and made the money, For as much money as it will costs in ink and paper, this doesn't make sense. Now, if he was just doing it for fun, well, then this guy would rule, ( in the sense of the present idiomatic expression of "rule").

he had a real car that he sold to buy a diamond ring ..

the paper project is to replace the car

Should have kept the car, and built a paper wife.

I did read it wrong, sorry, I was 1/2 awake. I bet he could market it as 'nose piece", just the first foot of the front grill, sticking out of the wall, or as a complete side piece, just a foot thick, sticking out the wall. That would be really cool. This guy may be on to something! If you could open the door, and have a refrigerator behind it, loaded with whatever it is he drinks, I bet they would sell. Of course, he couldn't call it a Ford and sell it without all the copyright problems. Maybe he could call it a Fjord.
