Explain to me again

I just received a couple of models of American ships. The kits were purchased from US Ebay, were manufactured in Japan, came with aftermarket detail parts manufactured in Czechoslovakia, and were mailed from Istanbul, Turkey. To pick the package up, I drove to the post office in my American Chevy van assembled largely from parts manufactured in Japan, Canada, and Mexico. Now, son, explain to me once again about the sacrifices I need to make in order to join this new world economy?

Have a German beer (or an English or Indian tea) while you build

Ships - USS Enterprise (late WW II) and USS Alabama in 1:700 (GASP) plastic. Don't know if the computer is Tiawanese, but the cpu was definitely manufactured in Hong Kong. The beer is Montana's finest (Moosedrool). The best use of a tea bag is to stop bleeding in a freshly empty tooth socket.
