Can some one help me?

One thing that helps me take my mind off of my Uncle's death is making more models.; This one I would like to have re-scaled from 1/72 to 1/42 scale. Only problem is I don't know how to do it. If anyone's willing to do a re-scale for me, I would really appreciate it. This is my email. astronautman20 AT gmail DOT com. Shoot me a PM if you would kindly take on this for me.

Jarrod,
Spacemen1969

P.S. What I would like re-scaled is a PTA M2 105mm Howitzer.

1: 72 to 1: 46 = 1.71 (171%).

I can resize your files using IRFANView as I did with my I400. I'd suggest taking the resized files to a printer as did I.

PM me here and we'll tee this up, OK?

Jim

Spacemen,

Fishcarver has the formula right if you are just going to do a quick upscale in printer, but that may cut off parts on the page. If it does, you'll need a graphic editing program like Photoshop or Gimp to enlarge the pages by that percentage, then rearrange the parts onto new 8.5" x 11" sheets to print out.

If not, get in contact with:Nebeltex who is with papertiger armaments, maybe he can help out.

For resizing, I use Photoshop although there's free programs out there that can do it too (Like, I imagine Gimp will).

If you're sizing down, you don't need to worry about the page size, although if you scale up, you'll probably need to cut the pieces out and rearrange them. For example I scaled a model of the International Space Station up from 1:100 to 1:48, which was a very big change. Something that took only one page at 1:100 would end up taking 2-4 pages.
