Offer the owner $20 to take it off his hands, and you've got either one of two things.
A: a nice little car to run around in.
B: hang some curtains on the inside, strip the interior apart from the back seat , add a desk, kettle, and heater, and you have your own little workshop.

I Agree, Rich.
Minis Minors are becoming nowadays both rare and antique. Scrapping one would be tantamount to a crime.

Hence my suggestions to our friend Doctormax.

Kind and Respectful Regards my friends, Uyraell.

Somebody should restore that thing! At the very worst it looks like a great shell to start with.

Unfortunately over the years have seen too many cars like that. Owner is always "going to get around to it some day" or "its for my brother-son---etc". Or from watching too many auctions on tv thinks its worth its weight in gold. Eventually it sinks into the landscape and eventually goes for scrapmetal.
