I found a home for my built models
When going into chemo today i brought one of my models along. It was just a shrunk down F-86 from FG, printed out on 3x5 green index card. I made quite a few for scouts about a year ago and this is one of the survivors. Anyhow, we are doing some spring cleaning and I have many such models. You know, those fun little builds but not exactly display pieces. Practice or experimental pieces. Anyhow, I will be getting rid of a bunch that are taking up space, and I no doubt have many more now that I am building again.
So I took the little green F-86 to the hospitable with me today and asked the nice nurses if they had any children at the hospitable that would like such things. It was an instant hit with the nurses at least, and I was told I was welcomed to bring all I had, as the kids recovering from surgery and those in pediatrics would love them. I suspect the models will all be crushed in under a week but if it brings a smile to one of those kids in that time it will be a good destiny for these models. I would hate to just toss them out, and kids love such things. So I will root around and get a few more together for tomorrow, my last day of chemo session two. Who knows, maybe one of these models might inspire some little kid to take up paper modeling! CT

An excellent way to move your "inventory" along!

Nice....but I suspect that some of your models will last longer than you might suspect.

Great idea! I'll have to do the same at my local hospital. Hope you are managing the chemo sessions ok.

I will make sure the nurses know to save the models with wire or pins for the older kids but I have plenty of smaller ones that are all paper.
