My username is a short from "stork" (friends used to call me that), in form of ship callsign, related to the ship's callsign I used to be in service on (SNWR). My avatars change from time to time, currently it is prism with three buttons: X K S.

My username is because I'm in college to become an aerospace engineer and I make stuff out of paper, hence paperengineer. My avatar is just because I like the F-15.

I remember when NASA was young. I was a kid when America began sending men into space by means of the Project Mercury program. Many of my friends and I were captivated by the reality of Russia and the US sending cosmonauts and astronauts into orbit;... we followed the Mercury program via newspapers, television, radio (I took a small transistor radio to school on launch days to hear live coverage).
It was a magical time for me and my childhood, thus I am still a Mercury kid at heart. |
