Very entertaining thread...

I'm a Robert and a retired Air Force Joint Terminal Attack Controller in a Tactical Air Control Party. The avatar is one of the tools of my trade - the GAU-8 30mm cannon on the A-10.

My Nick comes from when I was in the Army Guard, and the aviation unit I belonged to had OV-1D Mohawks on it rolls for many years before they were all retired, A few of my friends started calling me Hawkman and it kind of stuck. The number came from not being able to use just the name at the time.

What an interesting thread.

Mine is my name - couldn't think up anything else. Picture is the face off a recent card model

A free beer to those chaps brave enough to use a self portrait.

Yes, interesting thread, Leliveld is my real last name, pronounced Lay-Lee-Velt and my first name is a nick-name, I got that decades ago, when I was in art-school I was the youngest student (16) ever, so it was Billy The Kid, it stuck and only my dear old mother still calls me Robert, my real name

Very interesting thread.
My name is just that, my first 2 initials followed by my last name. It's easy to remember! As to the "01" at the end, well, it was required to get on here with the JAGolden moniker.
My avatar is just a favorite pic of me. Standing at a .50 cal in a B24 at the local airport.

I chose my nickname for short toxic and rapidly: Rapidtox, and my avatar is the symbol for biohazard, my real name is Carlos (very simple).

I lost, what happened is that I was not myself.

Mine comes from internet gaming... a leader of the dregs of society. Since there are about 20 forums that know me by that name, I just continue to use it on anything not work related. The avatar is actually from a motorcycle ad, but it is the death dealer from a Frank Frazetta painting that was used in the ad

In Latin America it is common for people to have two names. Mine are Rubén Andrés. Together with the year I was born it is my current nickname in this forum. I like them both equally. But some people prefer just to call me by just one or the other name.

In most other forums my nickname is still “Niebla de Fuego” which roughly translates “Fire Fog”, “Fire’s Mist” or “Flame’s Haze”, taken from a favorite anime character.

My avatar is a complex symbol I designed a few years ago to include my ruler planet, my element, my zodiacal sign, my stone, my color, my metal, my Chinese calendar sign, and all that stuff that I really don’t believe in, but that results in an interesting design all of my own. I use that same avatar in practically all of the forums I’m registered.
