Tyson is a wonderful commentator, and Newton was chock full of the God particle! You have to stop and consider that, in the history of mankind, no one prior to Newton even thought of these things. His mind was wired in such a way that he could see things no other person could.
In fact, it is Newton who really set the standard and opened our minds to a new way of thinking. Of course, at the time, he had his detractors, virulent oratory against his ideas. But, he was "the Man."
