Thanks, Chris My Friend.
Perhaps it was time I again took-up the quill, as`twere. I try to not force self to write verse: rather, when the Muse prompts, the words appear in mind, shortly to meet page or screen thereafter. I have to say, I'm truly touched, and humbled, that my poems have been so well received, so well viewed, and so well thought of. Some generous soul gave this thread a 5 star rating, which frankly, stunned me. I'm not only honoured, I'm humbled, and I deeply appreciate the warm responses the poems have received. Kind and Respectful Regards Chris My Friend, Uyraell.

----- Monologue -----
Our history shapes us, be that history personal or persons of history or legend, or historical event.
That thought produced the following poem. Kind and Respectful Regards my friends, Uyraell. __________________________________________________ ______________ ----- Monologue ----- Perseus slew the Minotaur, Prometheus stole the Flame, To neither was the task a joy, Life and Death: they are no game. The Gods look on dispassionate, The Cosmos turneth still, What drives a Hero is Love: He Serves, His Soul is Iron Will; Prometheus nor Perseus, Had spent their all to Serve, To spend one's Soul in such a way: Is thus to prove one's worth. ^Uyraell^ April 4, 2012, 2.pm.

----- Confessional -----
The discussion that lead to this piece was long, taking place over several days and nights.
During the discussion, I was sure of My Self: but while she with whom I was conversing professed certainty of her self it was apparent that this was not quite so. When finally I put this to her as being the case: she departed. The mercy in that was that her doing so spared both her and I much heartache that would have later occurred. When I later showed to another woman the verses below, her reply began a long and still ongoing relationship. And from the event, and the beautiful woman I showed the poem to, I Learned. I'm still with that beautiful woman. Kind and Respectful Regards My Friends, Uyraell. __________________________________________________ ______________ ----- Confessional ----- you ask to see My Soul, but have you the courage to look, into the light of Passion Fire? Lead me? you ask, yet pause before taking the Offered Hand, showing self yet unready, guidance, you ask, Service, you proffer, Hope, you Dwell in, Yet: you Are Guided, Served, Loved, what care you now of blandling world's concerns? these, to you, are scarse relevant, and of less moment, Therefore: Do as thou arte bid, Live as thou knowest thou shouldst, Love as thine own Soul craves, Having witnessed that Sacred Truth, of its' own reflection, in Mine. ^Uyraell^ 3:05pm, Fri. Many Warm Thanks to You Joe (J. A. Golden) My Friend.
It isn't often the Muse prompts my hand as it were, and some of the poems don't quite emerge as I'd thought they would. That said though, I am a Poet and a Writer, and grateful for the small gifts in the field that I do have. I'm glad those folk who have stopped by to read have done so, and even more glad that some folk have enjoyed my works. I'll add more as time goes on. There are some 160 poems written, but so far only about 90 have actually been seen. Kind and Respectful Regards Joe my friend, Uyraell.

Two of My early poems.
---- You ----
You who stands or sits a chair LOOK at what's before You, here those who serve you truly know that heart's desires willing show that services with Love are given to briefly Touch the face of Heaven and travel paths of ecstacy that plain folk in their ignorance flee and norms condemn for norms know not the ecstacies of passions hot nor yet the bondings W/we have got for those who serve those Who Accept a Sacred Trust Anciently kept who serves You should be Care`ed-for she comes to You to Love, adore and in the moment passion-spent the loving arms of Your content should be thus honoured tho she serve whose loyalties should never swerve whose own heart does as lovers must who'd live in Love not die in dust remember then the Bond You took with her service and loving look her body Given, Heart and All to Thy enTrustment DO NOT FAIL for bondings such as you T/two share should be Held as precious, rare and Sacred in the Ancient Way to be thus Honoured every Day remember You Your duties thus for she should not dwell in the dust and H/hearts Rewards must Given Be who would the Face of Heaven See. ^Uyraell^ ------ quiet-one ------ A year or more of gentle talk with One, a Friend, who would not stalk or Hunt the Darkening chambers and privily came she to Him and gently spake the Man within revealing so herself to Him a moment shared -- H/heart's Dialogue and moments added -- clear of fog distortions had no place therein for where H/hearts meet can be no Sin and T/two who would have seperate been within each O/other Passion seeing and thusly Love's Expressions met while H/hearts and Souls will not forget that Love's Own Ways will make the Path where T/two now O/one may safely tread without the fears or mortal dread that come within this shaded world and leave so many shattered, burned forsaken where they had but yearned as those who seek to Love Well must who stand within Emotions'dust where others who have trod the Path have erred and caused Emotions' death Eventually, she His became for there was kindled mutual Flame desiring H/hearts won't be Denied and L/lover's seek the sated sigh the caress`ed V/voice of O/one's B/beLoved that has in ways of Passion moved how joyous thus the Union made that grew from in this world of shade His joy in her quiet dignity her pleasure in the sanctity of ancient bond and Heart Well-Proved thus showing that there can be Love in shaded worlds and lighted too for H/hearts will do as H/hearts they must and breathe the Love instead of dust. ^Uyraell^

Two more of My early Poems.
------ Identify ------
Soft sighs in soft lighting -the quiet, tender moments of Loving's aftermath, He and she still, yes, but sated Lovers also, Fulfilled in the joys of Love and its' quietitudes, Beyond, for this precious, sacred time, the cares and woes of an oft' uncaring and cold World, See T/them thus, this P/pair, and Know T/them, -For Y/you are T/they. ^Uyraell^ ------- Offering ------- Look to her who on her knees raises hands and eyes to Thee Whose heart doth thusly show her love for He whose joys she sets her self for she it is who comes to Thee Thy Loving Hand, Thy stern`ed Eye SEE in her the glistening eyes the heaving breasts, the parted thighs tis Love not force that Place her thus Into Thy Hand in Sacred Trust Know that tho she serve Thee well tis Thee who serve her -- if Truth tell -- for in this place of Love's delight --the admixture of Dark and Light Fullfilment is what's Offered here and Wise is He who Holds her Dear. ^Uyraell^
