Problem with GPM website order

GPM (Poland)

...anyone know someone associated with this company
or their website?

I put in an order (last week) for some stuff
and was unable to complete the payment (a web error with Paypal).
I want to finish the order, make the payment and get my stuff shipped.

But I have been unable to contact anyone at GPM to clear things up.
(No replies to three emails so far).

I did get a confirmation email thanking me for "completing my online order".
But since I didn't complete the payment, then I didn't complete the order.
I have no idea if items have been shipped or how to make sure payment is made.
I think I just need acknowledgment and a new paypal invoice.

Obviously there is a bit of a language issue (although they do offer an English version of their website).
Anyone got any connections?

Dear Dave

Buying from GPM using paypal can be a bit strange. You need to make a payment to them
([email protected]) in polish Zloty.

Put your email order in the comments section on the payment.

Hope this helps

Tim

yes, I know that...I have a total and an invoice in Zloty.

...I went through the checkout procedure.
Got a total to pay and then it went to paypal.
While waiting for the paypal page to load, an error occurred
and the payment didn't finished.
I got a paypal error page.

Then I got a confirmation from GPM thanking me for "completing my online order"...which was strange.

When I returned to GPM, my basket is empty (so I can't try to do the payment again)
but it also states that there is an outstanding order.

I guess my biggest issue is why nobody is replying to my emails?
I will be happy to go to paypal and send a payment to them directly...outside of their checkout.
But I need them to talk to me first.

There's no other options at GPM for me to do.

I don't want to make an outside payment to GPM without some sort of communication
or verification of the order.

Ouch! Sounds like you're unfortunately stuck between a rock
and a hard place.

I had and have trouble contacting GPM via email. In fact, out of
the several emails I've sent to them, not once has an email been
returned.

If you haven't sent the payment yet - (from what I read I think
you tried but somehow it failed (?) - and I doubt you'll get that
outstanding order cleared via contacting GPM - might I suggest
taking the advice of another member? When I had GPM ordering problems,
Darwin suggested that I turn to Orlik. Perhaps that's where you should be
looking? Unless of course Orlik doesn't have what you're looking for. And even
then, send them an email, and I'm certain they will try to get what you want.
They communicate very well in English. I believe they have the most attractive prices
for North American customers - and they even include a free kit of up to 24 zl with each purchase!
(My gosh that is excellent marketing!)

I send GPM an e-mail about my order as a reply to an e-mail from them. It was bounced as non-deliverable. But at least when I got home from Cal today after my long weekend, there was a notice in my box that I had a package at the post office. Was my order, in good shape (just one corner of the packaging dinged a bit but didn't affect the booklets inside) and within about 12-14 days from the order date. Now just need to wait for my credit card bill to see how that part went with the exchange rate, fees, etc. So am happy, but would have liked to been able to communicate better.
