Mike & Peter--darn right, which is why I'm planning my builds of the BEAR bomber & the Spooky gunship out of paper (thanx eCard!!) but it's plastic for my Fictional Lakester--and at that, I'm already up to about $40 in kits to pirate from!
Shame on you, McHale, for making this topic safe to discuss!! Look what you started... 'Dust |

I find that plastic models are more challenging then paper models and I can find more of the cars I like in plastic then in paper will keep building in plastic the possibilitys are endless

OH dear. Guilty as charged. This is about half of my collection of unmade plastic kits. Bottom right of the photo there is some card models as well.

^^ Another nice thing about paper models. I've got as many unbuilt printed kits but they all fit in a folder in my file cabinet. Even my many kit books fit on one small section of shelf.

An advantage with paper models is that you save a fortune as well in materials - paints etc for plastic models are oh so expensive...........!
But I also confess to liking plasticine kits too - I am a sucker for military Land Rovers, and am busy with a SAS one now - scratch building a whole lot of stuff for it. But I do them in parallel with the card models! |

No way the ink for my Epson cost close to a hundred dollars where is paint for my plastic models ranges from .98 cents to 5.00 dollars and model cars range between 7.00 dollars to 15.00 dollars and there is not pieces of paper every where
