Lego Jet Engine

Can't find any pictures yet of it but came across this. Those stubs on each lego brick have got to be bad for its aerodynamics

If you click on the Facebook link at the bottom of the article, you will have several shots of the Lego Engine. There are several closeups as well. Looks good. Only a matter of time before the entire plane is made of Legos.

As impressive/amazing as this model is, what really blows me away is that some very lucky people actually got paid to build it.

It is a very impressive piece. Check out a stunning moving art sculpture called Kinetic Rain which I found in Kevin's link to the lego jet engine. Awesome.

Now that is totally cool. Over 700 lbs of Legos?! Now that's a lot of plastic bricks.

@MSpaceMike - I think that's been done already... Several times over... But then I guess it would depend on the scale.
